Megan Ryder
Social Care Manager, Capital Region
Megan joined Healthy Alliance because, as a former care manager, she saw firsthand how social factors can significantly impact a person’s health, often more than medical care. Megan wants to be a part of a larger, systemic solution that addresses those barriers head on. Megan believes Healthy Alliance will allow her to take what she learned on the front lines and help shape a system that’s more equitable, connected, and compassionate. Megan earned her bachelor’s in psychology from Sage College of Albany. From there, she worked at Ellis Hospital as a mental health assistant and then worked in the community as a care manager. In Megan’s free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, golf, just simply being outdoors, and relaxing with her two cats.
