Mohamed joined Healthy Alliance because he is deeply committed to using data and technology to strengthen communities and expand access to essential resources. With a strong belief that every New Yorker deserves the opportunity to be healthy, he was drawn to the organization’s mission of breaking down barriers and coordinating care across diverse partners. His background includes more than three years of experience in technical support and data analysis, where he has leveraged Python, SQL, machine learning, and data visualization to solve complex problems, improve systems, and enhance user experiences. Before joining Healthy Alliance, Mohamed supported energy-efficiency research as a Data Analyst Intern at the CUNY Building Performance Lab, where his work contributed to reducing energy consumption and improving operational decision-making. He spent several years providing hands-on technical support in higher education, assisting faculty, staff, and students while maintaining campus technology systems. Mohamed holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics and is pursuing an M.S. in Data Science. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new technologies, analyzing trends, and continuously learning to better serve the communities around him.
