McKayla joined Healthy Alliance because she strongly believes everyone, regardless of their situation or demographics, is entitled to equitable access of services that allow them to thrive in life. She’s committed to using her career as a platform to advocate for others and to create safe spaces where people know a helping hand is always there to welcome them. Prior to joining Healthy Alliance, McKayla spent her life in North Carolina, where she worked in various government positions that focused on community health improvement reporting and project management. McKayla received her master’s degree in public health from The University of Alabama at Birmingham and her master’s degree in business administration from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. McKayla enjoys spending her personal time outdoors, crafting, volunteering, learning new skills, and with her family and pets.
