Christina Runk

Performance Consultant, Capital Region

Chris joined Healthy Alliance because she has a passion for helping and advocating for underserved populations. She has dedicated her life’s work to advocating and working to connect community members in need to places that can assist. She believes that Healthy Alliance plays a major role in keeping our community healthy and is not afraid to share that information. She is viewed as the Healthy Alliance cheerleader and is not shy to spread the news about the great work the organization does to help the beloved community she lives and works in. As a young teenage mom who left high school, received her GED, and earned an associate’s degree from Hudson Valley Community College, Chris graduated from SUNY Empire State with her BA in Human Services despite working full time and running a household while there was a global pandemic. Throughout the progression of her career, Chris spent many years in community-based organizations, working in food pantries and doing case management. On this next exciting chapter of her career, she is taking on the role of Performance Consultant and is excited to be helping organizations reach their full potential and, in turn, helping them to effectively meet the needs of their community. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends. Being in nature and long car rides in the sunshine is the perfect way for Chris to spend any weekend!
