Debra joined Healthy Alliance because she is strongly committed to helping community members understand and navigate complex systems. She began her career as a Peer Advocate and advanced to a Family Peer Advocate in Central New York, drawing on her lived experience navigating multiple service systems. In her work, Debra connects individuals and families to essential resources and supports, providing guidance, empowerment, and advocacy to help them access services, build skills, and gain confidence. She is also experienced in completing safety plans, treatment plans, and assessments tailored to meet each individual’s needs. Outside of her professional role, Debra enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children, creating lasting memories together.
