Kerry joined Healthy Alliance because he wants to continue the work of helping people connect with resources in their communities. A Jefferson County native, Kerry spent most of his adult life working with people with developmental disabilities and was most recently employed by an independent living center; he couldn’t imagine working in another field. Kerry identifies as a peer and strong advocate for folks with mental health disorders. He is passionate about conveying the message that stormy days will pass, and it really will get better. In his free time, Kerry likes to attend concerts, pride events, and roller derby bouts where he can watch his partner compete as a jammer. He has a hobby farm consisting of two goats, two pigs, and seven chickens. Indoors, he has two children, four cats, and a dog. For Kerry, each day is a gift and life is truly good.
